JACOB, A CATTLE FARMER EXPANDS HIS BUSINESS WITH A LOAN

Babinzi Jacob, is a small scale cattle farmer found in Buikwe village. He is married with seven children and has been doing farming for 2 years, where he has been able to look after her family and educate his children.
The six month loan of 500,000 shillings ($134.41 USD) at 22.5% fixed interest rate will help expand his farm buying more cattle, and be able to employ some people on the farm, and expanding business by buying more cattle and be able to meet his customer’s demands.
Jacob supplies milk and ghee to the community, and this benefits the community in a way that, they don’t need to go far to look for the dairies in town to get milk or supermarkets for ghee, they get it fresh and near, and this saves the community transport costs and time.
